Viu en zones de clima subtropical.[3]

Es troba a Grècia,[6][7][8][9] Bulgària i Turquia.[4]
Estat de conservació
Es troba amenaçat d'extinció a causa de la contaminació i de la destrucció del seu hàbitat.[10]
